Every day in lockdown we are losing a bit more of our normality

Our minds are changing accepting all of the little restrictions

It’s been going on so long we don’t really notice the change within ourselves

Greeting friends and relatives without a handshake or a kiss

walking around people to maintain social distance

Washing our hands so often that our skin has dried out

remembering to take a mask whenever we go out just in case

We seem to have become immune to rising numbers of deaths

The way numbers are reported changed to make it seem not to bad

I hope this ordeal ends before we all lose our humanity
